This is the account deletion page for LingoSwap: Language Exchange (Android package io.studybody.swaplingo), published on Google Play by the developer yanakADAM — the developer account of Can YASTIOĞLU — and on the Apple App Store under the same product name. You can request deletion of your LingoSwap account and the personal data we hold about you. This page explains what gets deleted, what may be retained, and how to submit a request.

HOW TO REQUEST

Send an email from the address you used to register, to either contact below. Use the subject line shown.

Subject: LingoSwap Account Deletion Request

We confirm within 1–2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Apple Sign-In users can also revoke access in iOS Settings → [your name] → Sign in with Apple → LingoSwap. That alone does not delete server-side data — you still need to email us.

WHAT WE DELETE

Profile information (name, email, avatar, birth year, languages, proficiency)
Authentication credentials (password hash, OAuth identifiers)
Session history and ratings you gave or received
Recurring schedules and scheduled session invites
Follow / follower relationships and blocks
In-app chat messages exchanged during sessions
Push notification tokens registered to your devices
Game scores tied to your account

WHAT MAY BE RETAINED

Anonymized aggregates — Counters such as total platform session minutes are kept without any link back to you.
Moderation and safety records — If your account was banned or you were the subject of a report, a minimal record is retained for up to 24 months to prevent re-registration abuse.
Legal / financial records — Invoices or tax records, where applicable, are retained as required by law.
Backups — Encrypted database backups may contain your data for up to 90 days after deletion before being rotated out.

AFTER DELETION

Deletion is permanent. If you sign up again later, it will be a fresh account with no history. Ratings and chats other people sent to you remain visible to them as authored by an anonymized "Deleted user".
